Manufacturing today is fast-paced — every minute of production affects the bottom line. To be competitive shops must achieve efficient use of leading edge technology backed by comprehensive service and support that ensures machines are performing at their best. Operators must also be well-trained so that they can optimize each machine’s capabilities.
At Mazak, one of the ways we support our customers is through our network of Technology Centers strategically located across North America. In addition to our National Technology Center in Florence, Kentucky, we have centers in: Schaumburg, Illinois; Houston, Texas; Suwanee, Georgia; Gardenia, California; Windsor Locks, Connecticut; Cambridge, Ontario; and Apodaca Nuevo León, Mexico. Plus, in February, we opened a Technical Center in Dallas to provide more localized support to customers in Northern Texas. Through this extensive network, we bring a variety of services close to your shop, including:
Advanced application support
Our expert applications engineers will help you optimize part-production processes and create effective manufacturing solutions. We do this by collaborating with our tooling, workholding, automation and software partners to develop turnkey manufacturing solutions. We can also run test cuts of your parts on the latest, most advanced machine tools.
Education and training
At our Technology Centers, we regularly host education, training and technology events in cooperation with our partners. These events provide industry-focused education, so that you can expand your knowledge. We also host courses that are part of our Progressive Learning Program. These courses cover the gamut of operator development learning levels from beginner to expert and include hands-on applications and real world examples.
New technology and manufacturing systems
If you are considering purchasing a new manufacturing system, you can visit one of our Technology Centers to see how the latest, most advanced systems can optimize your components processing capabilities. Our productivity experts will help you select the best new machine tool technology for your business and specific application.
If you have not visited one of our Technology Centers, the perfect opportunity may be just around the corner. In the coming weeks, we will host several regional Discover More With Mazak® technology and education events. At these events, you can see the latest advancements in milling, turning, 5-axis and Multi-Tasking technologies in action, as some of our application experts perform metal cutting demonstrations on a variety of our machines. You can also learn how to take your production to even higher levels from some of the industry’s leading specialists as they cover topics such as complementary technologies, how to securely connect equipment to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) with the Mazak SmartBox, and more.
