November will soon arrive, and the team here at Mazak is excited to show all of our customers what we’ve been working on for DISCOVER 2019. Our theme for this year’s version of the industry’s largest private event is “Discover What We Can Do Together,” because our customers’ success is our success, and each of our successes advance our entire industry. During this year’s event, attendees will experience the Mazak iSMART Factory™ enabled by MTConnect and its advanced equipment in action, as well as get a sneak peek at recent investments like a new MAZATEC SMS pallet-stocking system and a newly expanded Spindle Rebuild Facility that is currently under construction. Once completed, this updated facility will be able to repair and rebuild spindles at an unprecedented rate and speed, helping to keep manufacturers’ machines running even more efficiently.
However, since a machine is only as good as its maintenance program, we’ll introduce our new Mixed Reality remote service program, which blends virtual and augmented reality to make preventive and reactive maintenance more effective than ever. And on the education side, DISCOVER will include chances for visitors to connect with leading manufacturing experts and attend seminars on the latest techniques so they can find the solutions they need to tackle their toughest production challenges.
