WHAT TO EXPECT

A combination of three major conferences held by organizations that represent manufacturers around the world – the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) Leading Edge Manufacturing/Materials & Processing (LEM&P), the 48th NAMRI/SME North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC) and the ASME International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC) 2020 – the Premier International Forum on Manufacturing Research will offer attendees the opportunity to learn from their peers around the world. Sponsored by Mazak, the event will bring together over 800 of the world’s top manufacturing experts to discuss advances in the industry, the latest innovations in applications engineering and new technologies that promise to transform the industry.

CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

Industry-Academia Collaboration in Advanced Manufacturing – Hosted by the National Science Foundation (NSF), this workshop will discuss the latest in how the NSF is promoting partnerships between academics and manufacturing professionals to push the industry forward.

Women in Advanced Manufacturing (WIAM) – The second annual WIAM Forum event will offer attendees the chance to explore ways to encourage greater diversity in manufacturing.

Early Career Forum – Hosted by NSF, NAMRI and SME, this forum will bring together panelists from across the worlds of industry, academia and government to have a conversation about how current undergraduate and graduate students can launch their careers and make difference in manufacturing science and engineering.
