As a result, Mazak has been successfully manufacturing some of the world’s most advanced Multi-Tasking, 5-axis, turning and milling machines in Florence, Kentucky since 1974.

During this time, we have demonstrated a constant commitment to both our customers and U.S. manufacturing through ongoing investment in the growth of our Production-On-Demand North American Manufacturing Plant.

In fact, the plant has undergone 16 expansions to date, each time advancing our engineering capabilities, product development and diversification and production efficiency to effectively support the growing technology demands of our customers across all industry segments.

Our facility is the second in the world to incorporate the Mazak iSMART Factory™ concept, which includes full digital integration of our manufacturing cells and systems. Utilizing the MTConnect® open communications protocol, the Mazak iSMART approach provides an unprecedented level of process control and operation monitoring, allowing us to achieve optimal efficiency, productivity and responsiveness to customers’ needs.
