(SUWANEE, GEORGIA) – Mazak Corporation, the world’s largest producer of advanced technology machine tools, is hosting an Open House at its Southeast Headquarters and Technology Center in Suwanee, Georgia on April 16, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 
During the event, Mazak will demonstrate the latest in machine tool technology, including the all-new INTEGREX i-150 multi-tasking machining center.  The i-150 has a new compact design and a 15-HP main turning and C-axis spindle, a 10-HP milling spindle, a generous 2.56” bar capacity, and integrated material handling capability. It also has several Intelligent Functions including Intelligent Performance Spindle, Intelligent Maintenance Support, Intelligent Thermal Shield, Intelligent Safety Shield, Active Vibration Control, Mazak Voice Advisor and Virtual Machining.

Another all-new machine featured at the Open House will be the HYPER QUADREX 150 MSY. This all-new machine is ideally suited to high-production bar and shaft work, with two horizontally opposed spindles, plus two full-functioning tool turrets, both with Y axis.
