Mazak Congratulates Team Penske on Nationwide Series Victory at Bristol

Florence, Kentucky, March 23, 2010 – Mazak Corporation congratulates Justin Allgaier of Penske Racing on winning the Scotts Turf Builder 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday. Allgaier, the driver of Penske Racing’s No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger, held off teammate Brad Keselowski to take the checkered flag.

Allgaier started the race in 30th position but steadily advanced on the field before overtaking Keselowski’s No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger for the lead in the 273rd lap of the 300-lap event.

“I got to thank Verizon Wireless, Mobil 1, Snap On, Mazak, PPG and all of our associate sponsors with the team,” said Allgaier after the race. “They’re the ones that keep us running.”

The NASCAR Nationwide Series win is the first of Allgaier’s career. He now sits in third place in the series’ driver point standings behind Carl Edwards and Penske teammate Brad Keselowski.
