HYPER QUADREX 200 Series

Part of the HYPER QUADREX family of two-turret, two-spindle Multi-Tasking turning centers, the HYPER QUADREX 200 MSY and 200MS + bar feeder + robot configurations give you the flexibility to do either chuck or bar work on the same machine for Done-In-One^® production of both high-volume and small lot size jobs.

Easily work with bar-fed materials up to 2.56" in diameter and machine parts up to 13.54" in diameter. The HYPER QUADREX 200 MSY model offers off-center machining capabilities with an upper turret Y-axis travel of 4" and a lower turret Y-axis travel of 2.75".

  SUPERIOR UPPER AND LOWER TURRET DESIGN.
  Upper and lower turret X axes arranged in-line for balanced cutting and the elimination of workpiece distortions caused by cutting forces. Two turrets increase productivity by allowing two parts to be worked on simultaneously – both spindles performing 1st and 2nd part operations.

  UNMANNED OPERATION.
  Adding factory installed overhead rail-mounted robot systems and bar feeders to the HYPER QUADREX MS model automates chuck and bar workpiece operations, provides more productivity in less floorspace, and prevents part surface damage associated with automatic parts catchers. Robots and bar feeders work in unison with high-speed, compact, integrated work unloaders and work conveyors for complete hands-off part processing from raw material to finished workpiece.

• RIGIDITY AND RELIABILITY.
  Machine integrated Mazak MX Hybrid Roller Guide System ensures machine rigidity, durability and reliability for long-term accuracy. Increased vibration dampening qualities extend tool life, higher load capacities are possible, quicker accelerations and decelerations shorten cycle times, smaller amounts of oil are consumed for “Greener” operations, and less maintenance is required.
• MILLING AND TURNING POWER.
  5,000 rpm, 30 hp turning spindles with full C-axis CNC control for part positioning and contouring at a resolution of 0.0001°. Upper and lower 12-station, 24-position tool turrets accommodate fixed and rotating tools. Both turrets mill with 7.5 hp rotary tool capability.
