Aerospace parts present some unique challenges, which is one reason we opened the Mazak Technology Center in Gardena, CA, in 1989. As a part of our National Technology Network, its intent is to continuously improve the machining process while providing application support to the aerospace industry.

Our strategy is working. Together with our customers and vendor partners, higher levels of productivity have led to new machine introductions better suited to the demands of aerospace materials. Larger, 5-axis machines introduced the Done-In-One concept to parts never before imagined. And longer beds now let you hog out large titanium, inconel or aluminum billets in the most efficient way possible. The entire aerospace industry has seen radical changes in the way parts are produced as a direct result of these newer technologies.

Below are several types of machines that support this important industry. Simply click on the photo for more information about each series. Or CONTACT MAZAK, or your nearest distributor, for recommendations and detailed specifications.
