Florence, Kentucky, March 24, 2010 – Mazak’s R3 event at the Midwest Technology Center on March 16th and 17th was a great success. Attended by countless Midwest region customers, the event built upon the principles of “refocus, rediscover and reinvent” that were introduced during the first R3 event in September 2009.
“R3 offered everything from keynote speeches from the likes of AMT President Doug Woods to technical seminars to demonstrations on the latest advanced machine tools,” said Brian Papke, President, Mazak Corporation. “Customers left the event eager to invest, with some even buying new machines that were on display.”
Customers weren’t the only ones motivated to doing more in manufacturing. A large number of students from local high schools and colleges attended R3’s Student Day where they learned about topics relevant to those considering careers in manufacturing.
